5-Amino-1MQ is a selective, cell-permeable NNMT (Nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) inhibitor studied for its potential to enhance metabolic efficiency, support fat oxidation, preserve lean mass, and increase intracellular NAD⁺ availability. Its mechanism is metabolic rather than appetite-suppressive.
Mechanism of Action
NNMT is an enzyme that methylates nicotinamide, reducing its availability for NAD⁺ synthesis. In metabolic dysfunction, NNMT is often overexpressed in adipose tissue.
By inhibiting NNMT, 5-Amino-1MQ may:

Cycle Protocol
Week 1 (Assessment Phase)
- 2.5 mg once daily
- Injection volume: 15 units (0.15 mL)
Weeks 2–4 (Active Phase)
Choose based on tolerance and research goal:
- Option A: 2.5 mg once daily (maintenance)
- Option B: 5.0 mg once daily (enhanced effect)

Cycle Length
- On cycle: 4 weeks
- Off cycle: 4 weeks
- Repeat: After full rest period if desired
